Why World Missions Congress ?
During the Congress, we will share global mission best practices, establish a new platform for churches and mission agencies to form alliances, identify areas for global synergy in world evangelisation, and emerging hubs for regional congresses worldwide.
Listen to the pulse of the global mission community: The Congress is a denominational church-initiated mission conversation initiated by the Anglican Communion. The Congress is holding a conference to explore a new global mission alignment as international players highlight the need to act and the need to understand within global missions.
Identify new areas of collaboration and service, as well as opportunities: The Congress allows the global mission community to listen to the pulse and identify new areas of cooperation, concerns, and service.
Unite North and South for a shared harvest: There will be a close collaboration between the North and South, addressing issues that can close the gap between the harvest force in the South and the skills and resources in the North.
Celebrate and leverage the Kingdom expressions from all walks of life: If you are involved in any form of evangelism, gospel proclamation, or declaration—whether in business, profession, or church-based contexts—the Congress invites you to join others in shaping a new future for God’s missions in this season.
Harness the diaspora’s potential for advancing the Body of Christ: The Congress deliberations may lead to leveraging the power of the tremendous diaspora at the disposal of the Body of Christ for the Kingdom’s advance during a new global harvest push.
Explore innovative ways to engage in missions beyond traditional denominational boundaries. What can we learn about the future of the global Church’s mission engagement to facilitate frontline involvement beyond denominational growth?
Top African missions leaders will offer a new and remarkable interpretation on Africans’ season of harvest.
